Browsing the website
You can browse freepcvpn.com without an account or email address. Public pages have no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or signup forms. The homepage concept keeps only temporary display state and does not make a VPN connection.
The hosting server processes technical request information, including the requesting IP address, URL, headers, and timing. Routine access logging is disabled for the public website. Error and security records may include request details. This is not a claim that every network operator keeps no records.
Activating the Windows app
Activation sends the code and your Windows computer name to pa99.freepcvpn.com over HTTPS. The service creates a device identifier and access token. It stores the name, token hash, creation and expiry times, last-seen time, and revoked or review-required status. Activation-code hashes, usage, and expiry records are retained.
The app saves its token locally using Windows data protection for the current user. It uses this token to request authorized locations and connection access. Signing out removes the local token and disconnects; it does not automatically delete server records.
Connection management records
The service maintains leases linking a device, authorized account, and location. Records include lease state, start and expiry times, heartbeat timing, connection timing, and reported outcomes. Capacity, health counters, and cooldowns help administrators manage access.
The panel control API does not collect browsing content, visited URLs, or DNS queries, and does not receive tunneled browsing traffic. VPN endpoint operators handle the actual traffic under their own terms. We do not make an audited no-logs claim for the app, panel, or endpoint providers.
Administrator access and security
The panel uses a secure session cookie for administrator login. It records administrative actions and their timing, including activation, account and location changes, revocation, and device review. Security controls process request addresses and login attempts. Infrastructure error or security logs may include technical request data.
Administrators can see device names and connection metadata. Endpoint profiles and account material are encrypted in the panel database and supplied to the client when needed. Encryption does not remove the need to trust the administrator or endpoint provider.
Information on your PC
The app displays engine-reported state, tunnel address, session duration, and transfer totals. Diagnostics do not display account credentials or activation codes. The local OpenVPN engine must process connection configuration and account material to establish a tunnel.
Retention and deletion
Expired leases or sessions may be marked inactive without being deleted. This preview does not implement automatic deletion of historical device, lease, activation, and audit records. Records may remain until the administrator removes them. Contact the administrator who supplied your code for revocation or a deletion request. There is no self-service deletion interface.
External services
Website fonts and artwork are served locally. Setup connects to swupdate.openvpn.org to download the official OpenVPN prerequisite. Documentation websites and VPN providers operate independently with their own policies.
Preview status
The app and installer are unsigned. Native Windows operation, routing, and leak behavior have not been validated on the development PC because application-control policy blocked the build. No independent security audit has been completed. This notice describes implementation and intended operation, not guaranteed protection.
